Welcome to Jean Norman Dolls - a doll atelier, devoted to Marilyn Monroe.
My name is Adam Marciniak and I am the artist responsible for customising and recreating each one of the dolls. I have been a fan of Miss Monroe’s for more than 20 years and for all this time she has been an integral part of my life. I owe her a great debt of gratitude for inspiring me to dream and pursue my calling in life as well as providing stability and comfort over many of my life’s challenges. I do my best to incorporate my experience, knowledge and love for the actress into my work. All of my dolls are bespoke and I do my outmost best to recreate each one of her iconic looks to the best of my artistic ability.

Do you take commissions?
Yes. Commissions consist of the majority of my work.
How do I place a commission?
In order to do so, you need to contact me directly via email, WhatsApp or Messenger. We discuss what you would like and I provide you with a quote. If you are happy to proceed we arrange the payment options and your doll is added to my diary.
What is the price?
My 16” dolls, on an average, cost between £1400 - £1800. Barbie model usually cost £800-£900. However, each doll is priced individually depending on the time and materials required. Should you have a certain look in mind please contact me and I will happily provide a precise quote.
How can I pay?
I take payment in GBP (British pound sterling) via bank transfer. I also accept PayPal (5% Fee applies). For international payments, I suggest using Wise (Formerly TransferWise). It’s free and easy to set up an account and has more competitive conversion rates than PayPal. It also does not charge as high fees as PayPal does. Please see your invoice for full payment account details.
Do you do payment plans?
Yes, I do payment plans. After placing a down payment, you can pay the doll off gradually at your own convenience until it is complete – if initially agreed.
What is the waiting time?
The waiting time depends on the number of prior commissions. I am able to provide an estimate completion time. A down payment will secure your doll in my diary but waiting times cannot be guaranteed as I prefer quality over quantity.
What looks are available?
I will do my outmost best do re-create or create any look you might want!

My studio is based just north of London, in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.
